What happens during the discovery call? The discovery call is a short conversation where we learn about your business, your current accounting setup, and the challenges you're experiencing so we can determine which service plan fits your needs.

How do you determine which service plan is right for my business? We evaluate the complexity of your operations, the number of locations or entities you manage, and the level of reporting or support you need. Based on that, we recommend the Basic, Growth, or Executive plan.

What is Ignition and why do I receive my proposal there? Ignition is our engagement and billing platform. It allows you to review the service scope, sign your agreement, set up billing, and schedule onboarding in one place.

Can I request changes to the proposal before signing? Yes. Before signing, you can request adjustments to the scope of work, add services, or ask questions about anything included in the proposal.

What happens after I sign the proposal? You will receive a welcome email from our project management platform, Financial Cents. From there, you can access your onboarding project and complete a few preparation tasks before our onboarding session.

What happens during onboarding? During onboarding, we help connect the systems needed to manage your accounting workflow. This usually includes setting up account access, document automation, and showing you how to use Financial Cents to communicate with our team.

Is it safe to provide access to my bank and financial accounts? Yes. We request authorized user access rather than passwords, and all access is managed through secure systems designed for accounting professionals.

Do I need to gather documents every month for bookkeeping? No. Our onboarding process is designed to eliminate that. By connecting your accounts and setting up document automation, most financial data flows directly into our workflow.

What happens after onboarding is complete? We begin preparing your accounting systems for recurring work by reviewing your QuickBooks file, confirming integrations, and establishing your monthly workflow.

How will I know when my monthly accounting work is complete? You will be able to track project progress and receive updates through Financial Cents. This allows you to see the status of your month-end close and respond to any requests from our team.

How often do we review my financial results together? At regular intervals, we review your financial results with you to discuss trends, address questions, and ensure your reporting structure continues supporting your business.

Can my services change as my business grows? Yes. As your operations expand or become more complex, we can adjust your services to provide additional reporting, automation, or advisory support.
