The Frustrations We Hear All the Time
-
"I don't trust my financials."
-
"My books are always behind."
-
"They don't understand my industry."
-
"I feel like I'm chasing my accountant."
-
"My accountant never explains anything."
-
"I have to send the same documents over and over."
If any of these sounds familiar, it may be the time to switch to Finatech Accountants & Advisors. Most new business owners most likely reach out to their tax accountant for help, but business accounting is a whole different ballpark. Bookkeeping for taxes won't provide the clarity and guidance you need to run your business day-to-day.
Who We Work With
We love working with business owners who are:

Decisive

Our Onboarding Journey
1
Clarifying Your Needs
Our goal for the discovery call is simply getting to know you, your business, and the complexity of your systems so we can identify the right plan:
-
What's not working
-
What's frustrating you
-
What you actually need
Based on your needs, we match you to the most suitable service plan we offer (Basic, Growth, or Executive). If you decide to move forward, you will receive a service proposal through our engagement and billing platform, Ignition.
2
Service Confirmation
Inside Ignition, you will be able to sign the proposal, set up your billing method, and schedule your onboarding, all within one streamlined process.
Before signing, you will have the opportunity to:
-
Review the full scope of work for each service
-
Include any additional services
-
Request offer revisions
Once this step is complete, our team will welcome you through our project management platform, Financial Cents. From this email, you can access your onboarding project to complete any pre-onboarding tasks which helps us prepare your file structure, system access, and workflow setup before we meet.

Our Onboarding Process
Finatech's onboarding is designed to eliminate one of the most common frustrations we hear from business owners - the constant bank-and-forth of sending recurring documents to their accountant every month.
During your onboarding, we guide you through setting up:
-
Authorized user accounts to your bank and credit card accounts so we can pull statements and transaction data directly
-
Email auto-forwarding rules to automatically send recurring bills, invoices, and statements
-
User accounts to vendor and marketplace accounts to retrieve invoices
-
Access to your state sales tax account(s), if applicable
-
Secure access to your payroll provider
By establishing direct access to your systems, we streamline the flow of information from day one which means you get more time to focus running your business.
We also walk you through how to use Financial Cents where you will learn how to view the status of your month-end close, respond to task requests, upload documents securely, and communicate directly with our team.

Service Begins
Once onboarding is complete, we move to finalizing your accounting foundation by:
-
Reviewing and cleaning up your QuickBooks file, if applicable
-
Confirming that your chart of accounts supports accurate multi-unit reporting
-
Verifying all integrations and account connections are functional
-
Establishing your recurring projects based on your contract
From this point forward, your accounting operates on a defined cadence. Each month follows a structured workflow with assigned responsibilities, internal review checkpoints, and documented procedures.
